Pull&Thread is excited to announce a new art exhibition featuring three South Bay artists: Drica Lobo, Maya, and Meredith DuBois. The show, entitled Trifecta, celebrates the rebirth, hope, and renewal that come with the arrival of spring. The exhibition will occur on Sunday, April 23rd, from 3 pm to 6 pm, at Pulled & Thread, 24415 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.
Trifecta showcases California's natural beauty through the eyes of these three talented female artists. Their works feature bright colors, playful imagery, and fantastical landscapes.
Visitors to the exhibition will be transported to a world of wonder and awe, where they can experience the beauty of California in a whole new way.
Drica Lobo's paintings capture the vibrant energy of the California coast with bold brushstrokes and vivid colors. "My work explores the interaction between the ocean and the land, the beauty of the sunsets, and the joy of being in nature".
Meredith Dubois's oil paintings bring the essence of South Bay scenes. "My oil paintings attempt to represent these emotions through color, textures, and layering of paint. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create beautiful and meaningful paintings, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect on the simple beauty of the natural world around us".
Maya's abstract painting colors suggest our own language, a language of mystery and dreams, where we express our creativity, soul, and love. "The texture in each of my pieces will be the element that brings us closer to realism and bring us closer to the essence of the work. I will seek to translate the invisible of our emotions into the visible.”
Trifecta is an art exhibition not to be missed, where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of California and experience the world through the eyes of three talented artists. The art show is free and open to the public and will be on display from April 23rd through May 23rd.
