Hey there, friends!
It’s happening! The first stage of the Guidestone Church mural is officially complete, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you.
This project has been such an incredible journey, and seeing it take shape on the wall of Guidestone Church in the heart of Hermosa Beach is beyond exciting. If you’ve been following along, you know how much this mural means to me—not just as an artist, but as someone who loves this community and everything it stands for.
A Canvas for Connection
Guidestone Church’s mission to bring light, joy, and the message of a Victorious Life inspired every brushstroke of this mural. Pastor Brett Armstrong said it perfectly: “Murals are an iconic part of Hermosa’s culture, and art is one expression of God’s creative genius.”
The first stage of the mural showcases all of the elements, like the waves, lifeguard tower, and the city skyline, and it’s already creating a buzz. People are stopping by, snapping photos, and sharing how much they love seeing the beauty of Hermosa Beach celebrated in such a big, bold way.
What’s Next?
Now that the base design is complete, I’m gearing up for the second stage—adding lettering to tie everything together. This stage will bring even more meaning and identity to the mural, reflecting Guidestone’s mission to share hope and faith with the community. I can’t wait to see how the lettering will complement the vibrant imagery and elevate the message even further.
Stay tuned, because this next phase is going to be just as transformative as the first. And trust me, you’ll want to see how it all comes together!

And if you’re curious about the behind-the-scenes process—like the challenges we’ve overcome and the inspiration behind the design—don’t forget to check out my earlier blog posts HERE.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. It’s been a joy to create something so meaningful for Hermosa Beach, and I’m excited to bring this next stage to life with you by my side.
